Re-engineering Virtual Worlds for Pedagogic Practice: Why the Open Source Community is Our Friend

The coming of Open Source has been such a game changer for technology the rate of its development has been largely limited by Society’s ability to respond. But one particular sub-culture of Society has been particularly slow to react. Education.

The development - past, present and future - of Aurora* will be used to guide and illustrate.
