About the Presentation
In this presentation, Clarisa will introduce various ways to use innovative and engaging technology in the classroom. The techniques described apply to a variety of different levels of students and can be used in many different grades. The reason for creating this presentation is to equip educators with different ways of reaching out to their students so that the learning is interactive, engaging, and meaningful. She hase done research in order to discover the methods and extent in which teachers use technology in the classroom, and a surprising amount are either not familiar with or do not have appropriate access to the Web 2.0 technologies that could enhance classroom instruction. Therefore, the contents of this presentation are extremely relevant, current, and informative. Clarisa will encourage the exchange of information, conversation, questions, and feedback. She believes the many tools she will present for teachers of varying classroom environments will be exciting, useful, and will show teachers that technology can easily be integrated into teaching.
