Teachers have been using the Internet as a resource for language activities for quite some time and many activities are evaluated with the purpose of improving the learning outcome. How far teachers have been able to expound the autonomy adopted to use web 2.0 tools in developing learning activities with specific learner outcomes and patterns of assessment has to be studied and recorded. Understanding the importance and relevance of Digital Bloom’s taxonomy in the light of existing infrastructure at the teacher’s institution, curriculum and assessment, and supportive mechanisms becomes crucial for educators and administrators. There seems to be a gap in the curriculum and the facilities that are available, yet few teachers use the latest technology in their class . This could be because of the changing interests of teachers who exercise teacher autonomy and encourage new ways of teaching English as a foreign and second language through web 2.0. This presentation will look at the importance of Digital Bloom’s Taxonomy for teachers, educators and administrators.
