Planning an effective online program is an intensive process. After conceptualization, permissions need to be received, policies need to be reviewed regarding accreditation rules, faculty need to be trained and/or hired, classes and syllabi developed, and more. So, now the program is ready to roll out but where do you find students? In many cases, funds are not available to engage in massive and professional marketing activities. So, where do you go from here? In this presentation, this question will be discussed. A model of an US program in graduate education will be presented. The delivery system is moodle. Further, detailed information will be provided on how to advertise and build program capacity for the long haul to assure a steady stream of students to keep the program profitable.
